Construction sites and industrial facilities generate massive volumes of 3D data: laser scans, point clouds, BIM models. This data often goes unexploited for lack of suitable tools. Wikolabs processes this data with specialized AI models to extract insights, detect deviations between plans and reality, and automate site documentation.

The problem

Manual comparison between BIM model and field reality takes days and is error-prone. Raw point clouds aren't directly exploitable. Construction deviations are only detected during handover, often too late. And 3D documentation sits unused in heavy, unindexed files.

Our answer

Our pipelines process point clouds (LiDAR, photogrammetry) to extract meshes, segment components (walls, beams, equipment) and automatically compare them to the reference BIM model. Deviations are quantified, located and presented in an interactive 3D web interface for construction or maintenance teams.

What we get asked before signing.

Which point cloud formats are supported?
LAS, LAZ, PLY, PCD, E57 and exports from major scanners (Leica, FARO, Trimble). IFC files for BIM models.
What BIM/field comparison accuracy?
Accuracy depends on scan quality. With a quality LiDAR scanner, we achieve centimeter-level comparisons.
Is the solution compatible with Revit or ArchiCAD?
Yes. IFC files (standard export from Revit, ArchiCAD, Bentley) are directly importable into our pipeline.
Can industrial sites (factories, refineries) be processed as well as buildings?
Yes. Segmentation can be trained on industrial equipment (piping, tanks, steel structures) for maintenance applications.
